General News

Reparo Finance has expanded its team with the appointment of Sam Handley to business development manager and the promotion of Jonny Hampson to commercial manager.

Manchester-based commercial finance provider, Reparo Finance, offers funding solutions for small businesses through its network of brokers nationwide. This new appointment and promotion bolsters the team, enabling Reparo to expand its partnerships and support more businesses to grow and succeed.

Sam brings with him a deep understanding of the industry and strong relationships having spent six years in a similar role for the bespoke financial advice offering of mutual, Wesleyan. He will now help Reparo to increase its presence across the North East of England and develop relationships in new territories.

Sam commented: “I love understanding the unique needs of a business whether that’s improving their offering or navigating challenging times and this new role at Reparo is perfect for really getting under the skin of businesses and supporting brokers to get the right deal for their own clients. Reparo is an exciting, dynamic business which trusts its team to create lasting relationships with brokers so I’m hugely excited to get started.”

Steve Richardson, commercial director at Reparo Finance said: “We’ve got ambitions to grow our portfolio of partners and increase support for small businesses so Sam’s passion for understanding the landscape and his stellar relationships with Accountants and Intermediaries really stood out and we’re thrilled to have him on board.”

Father of three, Sam, is from Hornsea, East Yorkshire and will be based at Reparo’s Manchester City Centre office and also work remotely to forge new relationships across the North East of England.

In his spare time, Sam is a keen musician and plays drums in an alternative folk band, Pavey Ark. The band is a regular on the UK festival circuit and played Glastonbury in 2022 on the acoustic stage. It has also supported acts including Willie Mason, Badly Drawn Boy and Steve Mason.

Jonny Hampson has been with Reparo Finance for over a year; a highlight during this time has been exhibiting at the NACFB Commercial Finance Expo 2023.

As commercial manager, Jonny will assist with Reparo’s business development function, drawing on previous experience in the banking sector, as well as taking on additional cross-departmental responsibilities including credit management.
